Ice Maker Repairs

Repairs to any electrical appliance should only be undertaken by a properly qualified person. Ice makers are no different to any other machine which operates using mains electricity. Therefore if you have a problem with your home ice maker - for example, if the machine stops or malfunctions - the first step to take is to switch the machine off for one minute and then switch on again. Spurious faults are usually cleared by this process. However, for any faults that cannot be cleared by doing this, you should always request assistance and/or service from the supplier of the machine. Usually contact information is shown in the operation manual.
The Contessa Ice Maker Instruction Manual gives more details - the manual is available free from the downloads section of this website.
