is generally believed that ice cream dates back approx 2,000 years with
its early beginnings in the Far East. Stories abound today as to who
has brought it to its current popularity and many famous names crop
up in the history of ice cream. However, if we're looking for ice in the first ice cream then we should think of Nero, the Roman Emperor who it is said had snow brought down from the mountains by slaves in order to freeze his favourite drinks. |
