Body Contact With Ice

It's commonly understood that the human body can only endure extreme cold temperatures for a short length of time before it becomes life threatening. Ice is the ultimate test.

In January 2004, Dutchman Wim Hof set a new world record for full body contact with ice. We
aring only his swimming trunks, he stood in an ice filled tube (ice cubes were used) for 1 hour and 7 minutes. This beat the previous record - also belonging to Wim Hof - by 56 seconds.
